The 4 owners of the Barclay live in Royton so everything we have done since opening in2018 has been to restore the buildings and bring something we can be proud of to the town we live in. In the heart of Royton, the Barclay Pizza & Prosecco is a great spot for everyone to enjoy live music & treat yourselves to our wood fired pizzas.
We also have resident DJ every Friday & Saturday night from 9:30. Our bar & pizzeria welcomes all, whether you are a family looking for a meal with live music, a group looking for a dance, a party looking for a venue or a couple looking for a unique date night.

The Barclay is located in the historic building of the old Barclay’s Bank, dating back to 1905. Our four local owners have meticulously restored the building, preserving its original features and honoring its past. In 2022, we expanded to create Merricks at the Barclay, a tribute to the old Merricks Menswear shop, beloved by Roytonians from the 80s to the 2000s, and a nod to a dear friend to many in our community.
